ASTM A269 304 High Precision Tubes are covered by the specification for seamless and welded austenitic steel tubing for general corrosion resisting and low or high temperature service with specific wall thicknesses. The pipes under this grade and specification shall be heat treated for best hardness. The SS Heat Capillary Pipe tubes are made with very low outer diameters and wall thicknesses. The capillary tubes are used to pass expensive fluids through precise pipelines with high efficiency. We are leading Stainless Steel Capillary Tube Supplier in India. The seamless pipes and tubes are mostly cold drawn and have high precision in their dimensions. The 304 SS Flow Capillary Pipe is made up of the most used austenitic stainless steel with 18% chromium, 8% nickel and carbon, sulfur, silicon and phosphorus in the composition.

The material is strong with 515 MPa minimum tensile strength, 205 MPa minimum yield strength and up to 870 degrees temperature capable for intermittent services. There are also tubes with high wall thicknesses such as the Pressure Gauge Capillary Tube. These tubes have high wall thickness, yet low outer diameter which makes them withstand high pressures. So they can work in the high pressure gauges to control the fluid flow. The pressure gauge tubes are used in other applications in tools and equipment as well. The Narrow Capillary Tube is used inside engines and tools to pass fluids for shorter distances and in lower volumes but under high pressures. There are different stainless steel grades from which these tubes could be made. Depending on the grade of the tubes, the applications vary and their mechanical properties vary as well.
