SCH 40 SA 106 GR.B Seamless Pipes are made up of a composition with carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, chromium, copper, molybdenum, nickel and vanadium. This composition makes the Seamless Pipes ASTM A 106 GR.B IBR to have 35ksi minimum yield strength 60ksi minimum tensile strength and good mechanical properties. The material can withstand high temperatures as well as high pressures. The diameter of the pipes vary from NPS ¼ inches to 30 inches. The wall thickness can vary up to 250mm with schedules varying from sch10 to XXH. The different wall thicknesses allow the ASTM A106 Grade B Pipe to have different pressure capacities. The pipes could be welded with ordinary welding methods without the need for filler materials. The pipes don’t need preheating or post weld heat treatment for welding.

The Carbon Steel ASTM A 106 GR.B IBR Seamless Tubes  are made through cold drawing procedures or hot rolled procedures. The pipes can come with beveled, plain or treaded ends. The seamless pipes are preferred for dimensionally accurate applications because they have less absolute roughness. The pipes also have high toughness and high wear and tear resistance. This allows the pipes to be used in transportation of fluids over long distances. The SA 106 GR.B IBR Pipes are used in oil and gas, petroleum, petrochemical and other high temperature and high pressure applications. The length of the pipes can vary from 5m to 13m depending on the customer requirements.
