P22 Alloy Steel Round Pipe is a larger diameter pipe that is used in high temperature services. These pipes come with various surface finishes to avoid wear and tear and to improve corrosion resistance. The pipes can be machined, drawn, expanded or shot and sand blasted. The ASTM A335 P22 Pipe can also be normalized and tempered or full or isothermal annealed for maximum hardness. The applications of these pipes can be seen in the Pharmaceutical equipment, Chemical equipment, Sea water equipment, Heat exchangers, Condensers, Pulp and paper industry, Off-shore oil drilling companies, Power generation, Petrochemicals, Gas processing, Specialty chemicals and other industrial applications. There are seamless, welded, ERW and fabricated pipe types.

The pipes can be used in round, square, rectangular and hydraulic forms. The dimensions of the pipes vary according to the application requirements. The A335 P22 Welded Pipe  can come in single random, double random or custom cut to length sizes and the pipe ends could be plain, beveled or treaded. These different end types help the pipes be fitted in different ways. The Alloy Steel P22 Chrome Moly Pipe can range from sch20 to XXS and heavier with wall thicknesses ranging from 2mm to 250mm. The outer diameter of the pipes can vary from 19.05mm to 114.3mm. The length of the pipes can be of 16000mm maximum. The SA355 P22 ERW Pipe has a minimum tensile strength of 415MPa and a minimum yield strength of 205MPa. These are also known as the chrome moly pipes because they have chromium, molybdenum in the composition with carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur and silicon in the composition.
